Dubai EatOuts #120: DA GAMA

As mentioned yeterday, here are the photos of our night out!
All we did was talk, eat, laugh, getting-to-know-each-other-more conversations over a smooth bottle of Shiraz (Eaglehawk) red wine and beer. Being a non-drinker myself (i go TOMATO red and tipsy easily), i did manage to enjoy my half bottle of Corona and a glass of wine.

Da Gama is a Portuguese/Mexican restaurant by day/night as well as a pub for clubbers out there. Located at Century Village, next to Dubai Tennis Stadium, Da Gama not only serves Portuguese but also Mexican and seafood dishes.

This time round, my photos aren’t of best quality, was too engrossed in conversations that’s why.

Hubs and I shared our main course (lamb shank), it tasted good, but could have been perfect if the lamb was juicier.

For 8 adults, 4 main courses, 1 bottle of Shiraz, 2 large still water, 1 appetizer, the bill came to about Dhs705. It’s considered an expensive restaurant by the way.
Overall, the food was average (in my opinion), but i wouldn’t mind paying for the fine dining ambience.

*Will be writing more about this ‘village’ when we’re back from our holidays, with more photos too! Stay tuned.
